KID-isms

This weeks KID-isms are all from Caedmon. Not that my girls weren't silly this week but these are mostly some from today that I can actually remember.

Mom to Caedmon, "You love dogs so much don't you?"
Caedmon, "I sure wouldn't leave one in a dumpster if that's what you mean."


Caedmon went to put his PJ pants on. He wasn't paying attention cause he was busy telling me a story. First put his right leg in the left pant leg. Then he also put his left leg in the left pant leg. Then he fell over.  After he got up and fixed his problem Mom says, "Your pants are on backwards." Followed by laughing of course.

Caedmon jumps into the living room, stands up straight, and puts his fist on his hips as if he's a super hero, "Loud power!" That's for sure.

Caedmon and Payton were playing with Legos in his room. Caedmon was helping Payton make a house and I heard him say, "It has to look stylish."

It's been a busy week.

I went to dance class.

I started preschool.

I graduated and joined wall street.

Then I GREW A TAIL! .... wait I already had a tail. I'm not sure what this is. I should probably see a doctor.

you don't see that in public school: vol.3

In public school you do not see girls doing their handwriting in their bunk beds and you DO NOT see girls doing their handwriting in their underwear.

Craving watermelon?

This past week I made the girls dresser fabulous and also took care of a craving to spray paint!
I started with this. An old dresser given to us from Grandpa and Grandma. It had old gold knobs. Eek.

Finished product! Watermelon Pink.  I LOVE LOVE LOVE it and so do the girls!

And the knobs that Payton picked out at Lowes are just perfect for their room!

KID-isms

At a birthday party last weekend all the kids had lots of cookies, cake, and Caedmon got a pop, making him incredibly hyper, " Mom, if I try to kill one of the other kids from too much sugar, will you please try to stop me?!"
"Yes, son. I think I can do that."

This morning Reagan dropped her toothbrush on the floor, "Ahh! Now it's got floor on it!"
This is what I think every time that I drop something on our floors cause they are so dirty all the time. 

Payton was going through her stuffed animals this week and found a few to give to some friends. They are waiting in gift bags by the door. One of the gift bags is an old Victoria Secret bag.

With Payton's stomach issues this week I had her laying on the couch with a pillow under her stomach and her butt up to try to get some of that gas out. Reagan wanted to snuggle with her. "No, Reagan, sissy isn't snuggling with you right now, she's trying to get some farts out."
Reagan then poked Payton's butt and made farting noises. 

Reagan was picking on the dog while she was trying to sleep. Caedmon to the rescue, "Don't bother Roxy, she's getting her beauty sleep. Don't come near my baaaaaby Woxy."

Banging on a drum Caedmon says, " Payton, I'll make the music, you dance those farts out. (then singing) A ceremony for all, all. A ceremony for all, all." (followed by African tribal sounds.)

a true Crawford

Payton has been really sick this week with fevers and strange stomach issues. We just weren't getting a handle on it and decided to take her in to make sure it wasn't sometime more serious. The doctors discovered what we knew all along. She's a Crawford, FULL of hot air.

See all those HUGE air bubbles? No wonder she's been in so much pain.
She's been putting all the rest of the Crawford to shame with her giant old man farts that are starting to come out!

the fart gallery, i mean art gallery

Since my children have gotten to the ages of drawing lots of their own art work and beginning to write their own stories I thought that I would start sharing some of their masterpieces. 

Payton is really into drawing mermaids right now. Last week she painted a picture of her and one of her good friends as mermaids and wanted to frame it and give it to her for her birthday present.  It turned out pretty cute I thought. I was grateful that it didn't turn out as graphic as the mom and pop mermaids that she drew the week before.

Apparently Papa mermaid needs a razor for his hairy belly and cucumber man boobs. Momma mermaid is looking pretty perfect.

 This is Super Mom. Dang right it is! Super Mom is ready for action with her messy mascara mask, sticky uppy hair,  and her fire shooting hips! Heck yes!

And this post could not be complete without a touch from Caedmon. This is a old handwriting assignment from months ago. It's been proudly displayed on the fridge all this time.

This is a large reason of why I love being a mom to these guys.
