Work it out

There's been lots of fighting around here between the older two children in our house. After a leg being shut in the van door and a gut being punched this morning and lots of mouthing off, this mom has HAD IT!
What did I do about it you may ask? Well, besides taking away tv and all other electrical devices, these guys get to participate in some conflict resolution exercises.

As you can see, there is still conflict and this exercise still needs some perfecting.

Tea with the President

We just started going through this book as a family in the mornings. We got it for Christmas from Jason's parents. It's by the same people who made The Jesus Storybook Bible, which I really love for the kiddos.

We had a good little chuckle about this mornings reading. Can you see why? Jason's response to paragraph four, "Isn't that the same person?"

We all decided we'd like to have tea with Kid President instead.

Webfilings Winter Bash and some goofballs

This last weekend was the winter party for Webfilings where Jason works. We had a fun time getting dressed up and shaking our booties.

I sported a new dress made by the talented Erin Meschke! I put out a rocker vibe with it and got my hair done totally awesome. It was fun so fun!

And here are my goofballs. Can you tell we go through a lot of oatmeal?
